The Northridge Science Olympiad teams competed Saturday at the Crown Point Invitational. High school students took 1st and 2nd place over all. Middle school students placed 3rd over all in their division. Way to go Raiders!!
The NHS Theater Troupe performed last night at the Indiana State Finals competition! They will participate in acting workshops today and receive the judges’ feedback tomorrow. We are so proud of these Raiders!
Our staff shout out goes to our buildings and grounds staff, maintenance crews, and building managers and custodians in every building. This has been a week of weather. Our crews have worked countless hours to make sure that roads are clear, sidewalks are cleaned, and entrances are clear and safe. They have gotten up early and worked late almost every day this week. They are very much appreciated!! Thank you to each one of you!

Transportation will pick students up 2-hours later than a regular school day.

January is School Board Appreciation Month. We wish to recognize our board of trustees for all the work that they do to keep our school corporation running. They continually do what is best for students and are wonderful advocates for public education. Thank you Kate Hummel, Gregg Eash, Don Anderson, Mike Varner, and Caleb Mast. We are thankful for you!
January 9th is Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful MCS police department! Chief Adrian Pettis, Captain Gary Smith, and Raider work hard every day to keep students safe and build relationships. Thank you for being an integral part of our school community!

The Indiana Department of Education has released the newest graduation rates for all Indiana school districts, and we have exciting news to share!
Out of the seven high schools in Elkhart County, Northridge has achieved the highest graduation rate at 96.74%! This is the highest graduation rate in Northridge history!
We are incredibly proud of our amazing students, teachers, staff, administrators, board members, and families. This is a team victory for our community! Go Raiders!
