The window to purchase the optional protection plan for student chromebooks is now open! This is for students in grades 4-12. You can purchase this protection plan online now or at the NHS and NMS registration day on August 7th and the HIS back to school night on August 12th.

We want to give a special thank you and huge shout out to members of our NHS football team! Tuesday evening they volunteered their time and energy to help their former elementary teachers by delivering curriculum materials to each elementary school. They made quick work of a big job! Their help was very much appreciated! We love seeing our high school students supporting our elementary schools!
Teachers from each of our K-3 buildings are attending the Professional Learning Communities (PLC) conference this week. They are taking time out of their summer to work together to enhance the learning taking place in our schools. We are excited for them to bring back and implement what they learned!
The MCS school board recently approved the paving of the transportation lot. This improvement comes following the feedback received from our amazing bus drivers. Today, board member Mike Varner stopped by to check it out with Director of Transportation Gary Moses!
The Source of Elkhart County received a grant that paid for a billboard promoting school attendance in each of the seven school districts in Elkhart County. The MCS billboard appeared this week.

We are excited to repair, resurface, and restripe numerous roads and parking lots on our main campus and at Middlebury Elementary.
Stripes will be finished soon and it’s already looking great!
Our Transportation Office has posted the AM and PM bus stop locations for next year for all scheduled riders, on the My Ride K-12 app (locations only).
TIMES and BUS NUMBERS will probably change before August 7, 2024. So, at this time, please only verify the bus stop LOCATIONS.
Parents, please check your student’s bus stops in the app as soon as possible. If a change needs to be made, or a bus ride needs to be removed, please submit a Transportation Request Form on our website.

Forms must be received by July 19, 2024 to guarantee a ride on the first day of school. The bus stop times and bus numbers will be more accurate in the My Ride K-12 app on August 7, 2024 (one week before school begins).
