Northridge High School is registering for the 2023 sports camps. The cost per camp will be $45.00 per student. Visit www.sites.google.com/mcsin-k12.org/northridgeathletics for information on how to register and see more details about each camp that is being offered.

May 10th is National School Nurse Day! Each of our schools is blessed with an awesome nurse who cares for students. Our nurses provide first aid to students after playground mishaps, help manage student medications, give comfort to students who are ill, communicate medical issues with parents, and take care of needs that extend to the families of students. They are truly servant-leaders in our school corporation. Thank you for everything that you do to help!!
Students at York Elementary School are found doing a variety of different things during the school day. Here they can be seen learning about math, drawing, reading, and working in an individual setting with an adult. We love seeing their engagement!
Kindergarten Meet - the- Bus is this Saturday, May 6th, at York from 9:00-10:00AM. Our new incoming Kindergarten families and students can see a bus up close, meet some drivers, practicing getting off and on the bus, ask questions, and take some pictures. Hope to see you there!!
The York PTO is showing the staff a lot of love this week in a very festive way! Thank you York PTO for all you do for our staff and students!
Our first grade classes had some special helpers come in to help them build blue jay houses to take to Bonneyville Mill this Friday for Better World Day. The students have been enjoying studying birds this year and did a great job on this project!

May 1st is National School Principal's Day. We want to thank all of our principals for working hard every day to help students and staff. We appreciate you!
The MCS Art Department would like to invite you to join us for the 2023 MCS Art Show at Northridge High School. We will be displaying the best artwork from our K-12 students and recognizing them for their outstanding talents on Friday, May 12th.
The show will start at 5 pm and conclude at 7pm. An awards presentation will start at 6 pm in the auditorium to highlight the best artwork from each school. Entrance to the show will be through doors 21 & 15 at NHS.
We are looking forward to the show and hope that you can make it!
April 25th is School Bus Drivers' Day. We wish to thank our wonderful bus drivers! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
Incoming kindergarten students and their families are invited to come to our Meet-the-Bus event. The school bus will be at schools on the following dates so that students can see the bus up close, practice getting on/off the bus, meet our friendly bus drivers, ask questions, and take pictures. Please join us if you have an incoming kindergarten student!

Kindergarten Round-Up is Wednesday, April 26th from 3:00-6:00pm. This is an open house and families are welcome to stop anytime during that time frame. We ask that you visit our website and fill out enrollment forms prior to coming. We also ask that you bring a current utility bill, birth certificate (original or copy), and immunization records. Color for Kids, presented by Alliance RV and Lippert, is a family-friendly 5K fun run and walk to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Elkhart County's Brian and Jeannelle Brady Clubhouse. This untimed run/walk event is geared toward families and social groups but is also appropriate for self-timed serious runners.
