Third grade students help Santa hire an elf by reading the applications, close reading stories about the elves, collaborating, and presenting their selection to Santa. Sparkle was the elf hired! Great job third graders!
Shout Out to our second graders who met their reading goals. We love to celebrate student successes! 2nd grade students completed a reading challenge for all of quarter 2. Students who read 14 hours or more got to celebrate Thursday. We had pizza and got to celebrate our hard work with our friends!

Don’t forget our spirit days this coming week!
These Jefferson Elves have been busy organizing and collecting all the cans for our Giving Parade on Thursday. Great news, thanks to all our very giving Jefferson families we met our goal and collected 1,094 already!!
The Jefferson Cafe is a great place to eat and it's fun. They have been having special days for 3rd graders..it's their last year and they want to make it special. This is an ugly sweater competition with an ugly sweater coloring contest. Monday they vote on the sweaters and the coloring contest.
Gift Wrapping Station in Kindergarten. Wrapping presents is harder than it looks. These little elves were learning a lot figuring out how to do this on their own. Problem solving fun!
