Ms. Ross and Mrs. Walker provided 90 minute block PD to the staff this afternoon. I love that our in-house experts are so willing to come alongside us as we continuously work to learn and grow!
ILEARN begins tomorrow for most of our third grade students. Ms. Schrock's kindergarten students we're giving their reading buddies some encouragement to do their best work! 💙

Mrs. Gaskill's 1st grade class used pan balances to weigh different school supplies and jelly beans, measured with jelly beans, built structures with jelly beans, did bottle flipping with different amounts of jelly beans, and then experimented with different liquids.

Dear Orchard View families, today was a sad and difficult day for our school community. During today's events, there was never a direct threat to your child's safety. The building was put on lock down as a precautionary measure while emergency personnel responded to the situation in the NMS parking lot. I am so proud of our staff and students at OVE. They followed safety protocols quickly during this unsettling event. School counselors will be available next week to help students process things, if needed.
