Upgraded cameras inside and outside the building, a new intercom system and a refurbished loading dock. A big shout out to the technology and building and grounds departments for prioritizing safety at OVE!

Walking to the food pantry-please dress warm!
Dress like a librarian or paraprofessional!

Counselor for the Day with Mrs. Palmer and Sweet Treat with Ms. Schrock recipients really enjoyed their special time. I love our PTO auctioned student experiences. 💙🦅💙

Our students love watching the new construction project during their recess time. 🦺 🧱🚧

Mrs. Gaskill's 1st grade class used pan balances to weigh different school supplies and jelly beans, measured with jelly beans, built structures with jelly beans, did bottle flipping with different amounts of jelly beans, and then experimented with different liquids.
Learning is so much fun at OVE! ⚖️💙

Sweet treat with a 3rd grade teacher winners! Looks so yummy 😋 💙

A fantastic job was done by our OVE Librarian of the Day!

Fun time playing a game of EAGLE, I mean HORSE with Mr. Gillette. I'm being told that the boys had some great shots! 🦅🐴🏀💙

Dear Orchard View families, today was a sad and difficult day for our school community. During today's events, there was never a direct threat to your child's safety. The building was put on lock down as a precautionary measure while emergency personnel responded to the situation in the NMS parking lot. I am so proud of our staff and students at OVE. They followed safety protocols quickly during this unsettling event. School counselors will be available next week to help students process things, if needed. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigated this difficult situation. Sincerely, Kyle Martin

A few of our "sweet treat with a staff member" winners, celebrated in a big way this morning! 🍩🦷🍪💙

McDonald's lunch with the first grade teachers made for a tasty treat. 🍔🍟🥤

Thank you for your continued support. Your partnership with the school is so appreciated and valued!

The Northridge High School Northern Lights and Starlights show choirs performed this week for our elementary schools. The performances by these state championship choirs gave our younger students the opportunity to experience a show choir performance and helped them dream big about working hard and succeeding! Come out this Thursday, March 23rd to the NHS Auditorium at 7:00 to hear these choirs, along with the NMS Knight Lights. The performance is free to the community(donations accepted). Lunch with the Librarian is always a hit!

1st day of Mr. Gillette's running club has (70) 2nd and 3rd grade participants. I love the clubs that our teachers sponsor. Run Eagles Run 👟🦅👟

The sun was out this afternoon, and it was a perfect time for Ms. McCarthy's kindergarten class to cash in on their extra recess. 🌞🛝💙

These two kindergarten kiddos enjoyed their musical lunch with Mrs. Johnson 🎶💙🦅
