  1. Mr. Troyer is the Northridge representative to the EACC. He will visit the EACC monthly to check on Northridge student progress.

  2. If you have problems at the EACC, see your EACC counselor and/or your Northridge counselor. Do not ignore problems!!

  3. EACC schedule: AM: 8:30-11:00; PM: 12:05 (12:30 for NR) -2:35

  4. The first day of classes for EACC is Thursday, August 17th. NHS begins classes on Wednesday, August 9th. For the first 6 days of school (prior to EACC beginning), you are only required to attend classes at NHS in the afternoon. We strongly prefer that you do not come to school prior to 3rd block during these days. If you do not have any transportation to school for your 3rd block class, you must contact the transportation office ASAP to arrange for a bus ride in to school during normal morning bus routes, then report to the library upon arrival until 3rd block classes start.

  5. Transportation:

    1. NHS bus is available each day for AM students only — riding the bus is optional and students/parents make the decision. Busing begins on Thursday, August 17th — The bus will leave at 7:30 am at the northwest entrance of the building near the student parking lot. The bus leaves EACC immediately after dismissal at 11:00 a.m.

    2. Students can drive or carpool — allow 30+ minutes for travel. (If attendance problems occur for student drivers, students may be assigned to ride the bus.) Student drivers do not always leave EACC classes as early as bus students — check with your EACC teacher.

    3. Cosmetology students must drive/carpool both ways due to longer hours. Cosmetology hours are 7:15-11:15 a.m. Cosmetology students must be at NHS in time for their 3rd Block Class. If you don’t have A-Lunch, you must be in class on time and you can eat lunch here at NHS. If you have A-Lunch, you must be in class by 12:35 or the beginning of your class if we are on a different schedule. If you are going to be leaving late from EACC due to a class conflict, you must present NHS with a pass from your EACC Teacher stating the time that you left.

    4. Return to Northridge for AM students:

      1. M, T, TH, & F-class/lunch begins at 12:00 — be at NHS by 12 noon on August 9th to see when your class begins

      2. Wednesday (Late Start Days) — class/lunch begins at 12:16 — be in class by 12:46 if A lunch/12:16 if B lunch

      3. Drivers may eat at Northridge or at home/restaurant.

    5. Once you arrive at Northridge from the EACC YOU MAY NOT LEAVE the campus. You are to immediately enter the building, sign in the office, and go directly to the library and remain there until block 3 classes begin.

    6. Leaving Northridge for PM students:

      1. All days — Leave class at 11:30 for the EACC

      2. You may eat at NR or at home/restaurant.

      3. Be in class at the EACC by 12:30 p.m.

      4. Because you are leaving block 2 class early each day, you are responsible for information and work missed.

  6. Altered schedules: Instructions — EACC Morning Students

    1. Two-hour delay at Northridge — Do not attend EACC, but be at Northridge by 1:05 (classes with B or C lunches) / 1:35 p.m. (classes with A lunch) for blocks 3 and 4.

    2. Two-hour delay at EACC — Do not attend EACC, but be at Northridge at the normal time for blocks 3 and 4.

    3. EACC classes canceled — be at Northridge for block 3 & 4.

    4. Northridge classes canceled — no attendance required.

  7. Altered schedules: Instructions — EACC Afternoon Students

    1. Two-hour delay at Northridge — be at Northridge by 10:45 a.m. for block 1 class and leave for the EACC at 11:30 a.m.

    2. Two-hour delay at the EACC — follow your regular schedule for Northridge and the EACC.

    3. EACC classes canceled — be at Northridge for block 1 & 2.

    4. Northridge classes canceled — no attendance required.

  8. EACC fees and uniforms should be paid promptly. Mr. Troyer will expect all fees to be paid and see you in uniform on his first visit.

  9. Remember that you are representing yourself and Northridge. You have made a commitment to work hard at the EACC for the entire school year. However, if you do not live up to your end of the agreement, the EACC may not allow you to return.

  10. Discipline between Northridge and the EACC is reciprocal. Any given at one school will be supported by the other. If you are suspended at NHS, you are also suspended from the EACC, and vice versa.

  11. Attendance problems at the EACC can result in loss of some or all credits from the EACC. It is important for students to be in school every day — both at the EACC and at Northridge.

  12. If the EACC is not having classes, you are to be at Northridge only during the two blocks you have class. Please do not come into the building when you do not have scheduled classes.
