JES FAMILIES! Don't miss our fun, family event this WEDNESDAY EVENING from 6-7pm. We are giving each JES student 5 FREE BOOKS. We will have 5 stations to visit to pick up a free book as well as a number of used books for families to pick from. Kona Ice and Donut NV will be available to purchase. Join us as we celebrate reading during the summer!

If your student will not be returning to Jefferson or WILL NOT BE GOING TO HERITAGE INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL next school year, please notify the school office as soon as possible. There is a paper that needs to be completed by you. 574/822-5399. The office is open M-F from 7:00am - 3:30pm.
Our 3rd Grade students have been learning about entrepreneurship and will be putting their skills to work on their Market Day. They have also decided to donate a portion of their profits to support The Stable Grounds Equine Therapy in Middlebury. If your student(s) would like to add to their donation, we will have a collection container in the lobby.
Check out the Middlebury Public Library website for their Summer Reading Program. This year's theme is "Adventure Begins at Your Library!" There are summer activities for all ages!
Registration opens May 20th and the program runs from June 3 through August 3.
The Summer Reading Kick-Off has been pushed back to NEXT Wednesday, May 22 at 6:00pm. This is a FREE BOOK giveaway for each Jefferson student. We have not received all of the books that have been ordered and therefore need to change the date. This event will be held in the front of the school. Each student will receive several free books to read over the summer.
