The PTO has sponsored a "hospitality cart" that makes a monthly trek through the hallways as an act of kindness and a way thank the entire OVE staff. We are so grateful to all of our amazing and supportive families!!

A great big thank you to our amazing PTO for purchasing 30th anniversary shirts for all students and staff. Each student will come home with a new shirt today 💙🦅💙
It was a little chilly for our school-wide photo but our students were troopers!
Check out our ultra- special staff who have been at OVE since day #1. Rumor has it there is a time capsule behind the 1993 block. Somebody remind the principal in 2093 to open it!

OVE Picture day is next Thursday, August 24th. Every student's picture will be taken that day.

Please return these forms on Thursday, August 24th whether you are purchasing online, by paper, or not ordering at all. Yearbooks can be ordered at this time also.
At our welcome back meeting, staff came up with this amazing list of COMMITMENTS. Our awesome buildings assistants, Mrs. Bailey and Mrs. Wenger. redesigned the lobby display case to remind us daily what we are all about!
Just a reminder that students first day is tomorrow Wednesday, August 9th. Wednesday's are a late start day with early student drop off beginning at 7:40 and the tardy bell rigs at 8:05. We are so excited to see our students again!

Monday, August 7th, is back to school night from 5pm-6pm. You will be able to tour the school, visit your classroom, meet your teacher, verify transportation and ask any questions you may have! We can't wait to see you!
1st-3rd grade packet pick-up is today from 12pm-6pm. Look for the canopy on the North side of OVE and drive up! We will be confirming your student's afternoon transportation and handing out your child's packet!
Kindergarteners: We are so excited to see you today during your meet and greets!
The summer projects are finalized and look absolutely amazing! We cannot wait to show them off today to our families and students. There is no way I could individually thank everyone who made this happen, but please know, we have such a great and hardworking staff at OVE! 💙🦅💙
A big shout out to all the staff members from YES, MES, JES and OVE that are attending the Lincolnshire PLC conference and our friends who are joining virtually. Yep, school starts in one week and these dedicated individuals are spending their final summer days growing their knowledge and honing their skills!
