What do OVE teachers do during summer break? How about meet together at school and collaborate about early literacy! 💙📖🦅
Updating the fire alarm system, cafeteria addition and remodel and parking lot getting resurfaced. Lots going on at OVE in preparation for the new school year. We still have a couple more projects in the works for this summer! Big shout out to MCS Buildings/Grounds and Derek and his amazing team at OVE for making it all happen. 💙🦅🚧
We can't wait to welcome our new Kindergarten students! Enroll today!
I can't say it enough. . . "OVE PTO ROCKS!" Thank you, thank you for all you do to support our students and staff! The Chick-fil-a and treats were amazing💙
A big shout out to our May Eagle Feather winners! Leaders in the classroom and the school. On the last day of school, they wanted to do a silly face picture as well. 💙🦅💙
What a cool picture of Mrs. Cripe's kiddos posing with their class t-shirts!😎💙🦅
Ms. Schrock's and Mrs. Ayres' kiddos enjoyed their last reading buddy day together 💙
Lego Day in Mrs. Martin's class was a blast! 🧱💙🦅
Mrs. Grise's and Mrs. Yon's and Ms. Hooley's and Ms. Bontrager's classes enjoy their last Book Buddy meeting of the year. We love our partnerships between grade levels 💙
Our third grade students enjoyed watching their music concert this morning with a popcorn treat. Afterwards, the Eagle Council members received their rewards! 💙🦅
Quite a way to arrive to school on the last Friday before summer break! 🚒
The MCS art show took place last Friday. The top 5 OVE students are pictured with their artwork in the background. They received gift bags this morning! 🎨
Did you know that the second and third grade students in Mr. Gillette's running club totaled 1,012 miles covered during their meeting times. This is just short of the number of miles it takes to drive from Middlebury to Orlando. Students in Mrs. Bickel's class covered the most miles with 181. The top overall boy and girl students are pictured below.
As you can tell, the girls really wanted to race the boys.
We 💙our OVE artists! Such talent in Middlebury Schools.
Our OVE artists are well represented on the MCS calendar. We had student art work selected for Kdg, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade. The 4th grade winner was an Eagle last year as well. Draw Eagles Draw !

Flashlight research in Mrs. Bickel's class and glow day writing in Ms. Weaver's class are examples of how much fun learning is at OVE 🔦🌟
Baking cookies with Mrs. Miller looks like it may have involved a flour fight. I can confirm that the chocolate chip cookies turned out fantastic though 🍪
Since Mrs. Byler takes such good care of our students, they decided to return the favor and presented her a with signed Band-Aid on Nurse Appreciation Day! 🩹💙🦅
